Instructions to Students/Parents/Guardians If parents/guardians are collecting the result slip on behalf of their child/ward, please submit a Letter of Authorisation to the Form Teacher when you collect the result slip. All uncollected result slips and important information/booklets can be collected from the General Office from Tuesday, 19 December, 9:00am 3:00pm during the weekdays.

Pathway 1 Polytechnic Foundation Prog (PFP) N (A) students
Pathway 1: Polytechnic Foundation Prog (PFP) Top 10% of cohort ELMAB3 (English Math Best 3 subjects) aggregate of 11 points or less (excluding CCA bonus points) and meet subject-specific Minimum Entry Requirements (Group 1 courses) Min EL < or = 3 and Math < or = 3 Best 3 < or = 3 (Group 2 courses) Min EL < or = 2 and Math < or = 3 Best 3 < = 3
Pathway 1: Polytechnic Foundation Prog (PFP) For details on the various PFP courses offered and their specific subject score requirements, visit https://pfp.polytechnic.edu.sg/pfp/pfp_eligibility 4NA students who have sat for a mix of GCE O Level and N Level subjects can also apply for PFP. Applicants for PFP will attend 5NA until confirmation of posting is announced.
Pathway 1: Polytechnic Foundation Prog (PFP) Eligible 4NA students will be invited to apply for the PFP in January 2018 on the day of the release of the 2017 GCE O Level Exams results. Eligible students will receive a copy of Form P inviting them to apply for the PFP. Being eligible to apply for the PFP does not guarantee a successful placement into a PFP course.
Pathway 1: Polytechnic Foundation Prog (PFP) Successful applicants will be offered a provisional place in the diploma course you have applied for, and will be posted to the corresponding PFP for that course. Students who have accepted their PFP offers will have to attend Sec 5 until the LAST FRIDAY of January 2018. The PFP will begin in April 2018.
Pathway 2 Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Prog (DPP) N (A) students
Pathway 2: Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Prog (DPP) 11-30% of cohort ELMAB3 aggregate of 19 points or less (excluding CCA bonus points) and meet subject-specific Minimum Entry Requirements Min grade of 4 in both EL and Math and grade 5 for Best 3 subjects for Applied Sciences, Engineering & Info-Comm Technology Min grade of 3 (EL) and 4 (Math) and grade 5 for Best 3 subjects for Business & Services
Pathway 2: Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Prog (DPP) For students who are only interested in the DPP: Applications for DPP can be submitted online via the ITE application portal. (http://www.ite.edu.sg) You should apply from Monday, 18 December 2017 at 2:30 pm to Thursday, 21 December 2017 at 5:00 pm.
Pathway 2: Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Prog (DPP) For students who are only interested in the DPP: The DPP posting results will be published on the ITE website and successful applicants have 6 days to accept the offer. More information can be found in the ITE Admission Booklet.
Pathway 2: Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Prog (DPP) For students who are only interested in the DPP: Students who have accepted their DPP offer in December should not continue with Sec 5. They will graduate from 4N and start the 10- week DPP preparatory programme at ITE on 8 January 2018.
Pathway 2: Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Prog (DPP) For students who are only interested in the DPP: Students who do not have a confirmed place in the DPP should report to school on Tuesday, 2 January 2018 for Secondary 5.
Pathway 2: Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Prog (DPP) For students who are interested in BOTH the PFP and DPP, may choose either of the following: Alternatively, students may progress to Sec 5N first. Upon the release of the GCE O Level result in January 2018, eligible students may then apply for the PFP and DPP concurrently. If their application to either the PFP or DPP is successful, they will withdraw from Sec 5N by the end of January 2018.
Pathway 3 Sec 5NA to take O-Levels
Pathway 3: Sec 5NA to take O-Levels A total of 19 points or less for EL, Math and 3 other subjects (ELMAB3) in the GCE N(A)-Level Exam. At least an N-level grade 5 for all subjects used in the computation of ELMAB3. Collect the Application Form to 5N from your Form Teacher when you collect your Result Slip. Submit the Application Form to 5N and collect the 5N booklist by Friday, 22 December, 12:00 pm at the General Office.

Not Eligible for PFP, DPP and Sec 5NA Progression to ITE to study Nitec courses, which leads to Higher Nitec course. Students with at least 3 GCE N Level passes but did not pass Math or Science may opt to take a Math Qualifying Test at the ITE Customer Visitor Centres during the application period. Application Process to Repeat Secondary 4N(A)
Application Process to Repeat Secondary 4N(A) Obtain a Form to Repeat Secondary 4N(A) from your Form Teacher and submit it to the General office by Tuesday, 19 December, 12:00 pm. Students who wish to repeat Secondary 4N(A) must attend an interview with the Principal/Vice-Principal on Wednesday, 20 December. You will be notified of the time. Students must attend the interview with their parents/guardian and bring along their result slip as well as report book.

Secondary 4 Normal Technical For progression to ITE: 2-year Nitec course 3-year Extended Nitec Foundation Programme (e-nfp) for students with 0 or 1 N Level pass
Secondary 4 Normal Technical 4NT students with 0 or 1 N(T) Level subject pass will be given the option to enroll in the enhanced Nitec Foundation Programme (e-nfp). The e-nfp will help these students to build the necessary literacy and numeracy foundations that will enable them to successfully complete their Nitec courses.
Secondary 4 Normal Technical Some Nitec courses require shortlisted applicants to attend an interview on Tuesday, 26 December 2017 or Wednesday, 27 December 2017. These courses are highlighted in the Admission Booklet.
