Presentation is aimed at anyone who wishes to lead at any level. It is about creating a culture that works. Track A Sunday Roundtable: PRACTICAL TRAINING THAT WORKS For EMS and Fire What are current training methods that are working, outside of the traditional classroom? Discussion from some of the leaders in this area that are applying methods that are gaining recognition and reaching students. Empowering the class to strive and meet the demands of the current job market is the key to their success, additionally their success is the reason we are here. Please bring questions and topics for discussion. TRACK B your choice of TWO National Fire Academy Courses: Track B1: EMS FUNCTIONS IN ICS (F0166) In this two-day course, students will practice use of the Incident Command System (ICS) in coordination with other public safety responders. -OR- Track B2: INCIDENT SAFETY OFFICER (F0729) This two-day course examines the Safety Officer's role at emergency responses. A specific focus on operations within an Incident Command System (ICS) as a Safety Officer is a main theme. Response to all-hazards types of situations will be emphasized.
