We use the scores on the kindergarten test to alert the Title I and SPED staff as to possible referrals, if a student is struggling with the kindergarten. At screening the incoming kindergarten students get a chance to meet and visit with the kindergarten teacher. The incoming kindergarten students receive a packet that consists of a starting school color book, school tips and a sample of the handwriting for them to practice.
