Athletics DeSoto Independent School District Supplemental earnings are designed to compensate certified Teachers who serve as coaches of athletic activities. The Athletics Department is responsible for designating coaches based on the needs of the campuses. The Athletics Department will submit a list of coaching assignments to the Human Resources Department prior to the start of the school year. The following athletic supplemental earnings are paid over 12 months.
