Reinhardt Elementary School [99] Division ADAMS B FP 0- School Action Plan Needs Related to Student Achievement Data: The 0-0 STARR data indicates an overall increase in the percentage of students meeting the passing standards across (-) grade levels in the mathematics, reading, writing, and science content areas. All student sub-groups increased in all content areas with the exception of the SPED student group which decreased in mathematics and science. According to the data, Spanish writing is our lowest area. Followed by fifth grade science. % of fourth grade bilingual students met the passing standard on the STAAR writing assessment. 8% of fifth grade students met the passing standard on the STAAR science assessment. The data indicates the need to improve student writing profiency and our students' understanding of science concepts in terms of meaning and application. The 0-0 ITBS Reading data indicates an overall increase of 9.%. However, second grade saw a decrease.% in reading. The ITBS Math data indicates an overall increase at each grade level (K-). Overall (K-) the increase was.%. The 0-0 Logramos Reading overall (K-) data indicates a slight decrease of 0.7% at the 0th percentile. The TELPAS data indicates a 7% increase in the number of students who improved at one or more proficiency levels. Our campus academic goals/priorities will be to achieve an overall (-): 8% in STAAR Reading- English, 7% STAAR Reading-Spanish, 7% STAAR Math, 70% STAAR Science. Our campus academic goals/priorities related to ITBS/LOGRAMS will be as follows: ITBS Reading - 7% Above the 0th percentile, ITBS Math - 90% Above the 0th percentile, Logramos Reading - 70% Above the 80% percentile. Needs Related to Improving the Quality of Instruction: At Reinhardt we will continue to reinforce the practi of Curriculum Alignment, the implementation of Demonstrations of Learning (DOL), student-teacher engagement, and the utilization of data to inform instruction and ensure interventions are implemented effectively. We will strengthen teaching and learning by providing support to the staff with quality professional development that addresses: differentiated instruction, writing in the content areas, rigorous lesson design that supports critical thinking and vocabulary devepment. Additionally we will sharpen our focus on problem solving, and curriculum alignment based on effective Lesson Objectives and Demonstrations of Learning. Reinhardt teachers will meet vertically and horizontally by content to ensure strong implementation of the curriculum and the effective anaysis of student performance data to strengnthen the framework for data-driven instruction.

Needs Related to System Evaluation (philosophy, proses, implementation, capacity): The 0-0 System Evaluation results indicate many of the instructional practi have strong potential and should be continued, including curriculum alignment and teacher data meetings. We will continue to fine-tune these practi to ensure high quality instruction in every classroom. Additionally, we will develop and implement research-based RTI procedures based on specific assessment data and continue to improve dual language instruction.
