Sheehan School Mini Course Program Winter 2018 The Sheehan PTA is pleased to announce the start of the Winter Mini Course session! Mini courses are short term after school enrichment classes which enable our students to try out new interests such as Robotics, Props & Scenery, and Fused Glass. Classes will begin the week of January 29, 2018 and meet once a week at Sheehan from 3:15-4:15 PM. Classes for the Winter session will meet for 8 weeks. Parents-in-Charge (PICs) are a vital part of the mini course program. We will need at least one parent for each mini course day: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. PICs take attendance and oversee dismissal of the children and need to be present from 3:05-4:15 pm. Remember, if you are selected as a PIC, your child will receive a free mini course! This is a fun way to volunteer for the PTA. Please email a Mini Course Committee member or check YES during registration if you are interested - we really need you! Please find attached a detailed course listing and schedule. Class fees and schedules vary so please see individual listing for course specifics. As a reminder, please do not consider your child registered until you receive a confirmation email from a member of the Mini Course Committee. Registration will begin Friday, January 12 th at 5:00 PM and run through Friday, January 19 th at 9:00 PM. Online registration receives priority so please register at www.pay4schoolstuff.com. Please also consider being a Parent-in-Charge. A small commitment of time is a HUGE help in making Mini Courses possible. If you have any questions about registration, mini courses, or volunteering to be a Parent-in-Charge, please contact the mini course committee: Katy Bland-Brooks at katyblandbrooks@gmail.com, Jessica Casserly at casserly16@gmail.com, or Kate LaCroix at kmlacroix0710@gmail.com. For more information, visit the PTA page : http://www.westwood.k12.ma.us/sheehan-school/pta.cfm
