Implementation The majority of the proposed moves are intended to occur in sequence The sequence of the moves is advantageous for the following reasons: Accommodates fiscal year events (budget, year-end closeout, lull, etc.) for moving departments Allows sufficient time for design and permitting activities Allows sufficient time for remodeling prior to backfilling Corresponds with the schedule for completion of the Public Works Emergency Responders Building 7

Funding Costs - Remodeling Based on $50/square foot - Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment Based on 25% of remodeling cost - Relocation Moving expenses - Operating Cost Increase Short-term cost during transition phase - Lease Buy-out Cost to buy-out existing lease - Utilities Building Lease Cost to lease space in Utilities Building 8

Funding Cost Avoidance - Lease cost avoidance - Savings based on seven (7) year projection - Approximate annual cost avoidance savings of $750,000 beginning in Year 3 (FY12) 9
