DAILY SCHEDULE A typical weekday schedule would look something like what s outlined below. HOUSING & DINING Students will eat in our Segundo Dining Commons, which operates like a casual food court at a large mall, featuring fresh brick-oven pizza, vegetarian delights, sandwiches and salads, and many more exciting culinary options. Students will be housed in the Cuarto district, conveniently located near the heart of campus and with easy access to community shopping.

LEADERSHIP & TEAM BUILDING Students in all program majors benefit from our custom-designed leadership and team-building curriculum, designed to develop the leadership skills that are essential to success in high school, college and beyond. By developing your business pitch decks, networking, engaging in both individual projects and meaningful collaborations with your peers, you will develop the skills and foster new relationships essential to success as an entrepreneur and innovator.

COASTAL & MARINE SCIENCES July 30 August 16 Dr. Ellie Fairbairn In this major, you ll spend an exciting week on the UC Davis campus with scientists from the Coastal and Marine Sciences Institute learning about plants, animals, and processes that span the California landscape, linking the Sierras to the sea. In the second week, we hit the beach, exploring one of the world s most biologically rich coastal and marine environments Bodega Bay and the UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory and Bodega Marine Reserve.

VETERINARY SCIENCE July 9-29 Dr. Rebecca Bellone Learn about how genes, the environment and the interaction between the two play critical roles in understanding animal health, and how this knowledge is applied to animal breeding programs. In this major, you ll have the rare opportunity to learn from leading faculty and research associates at the Veterinary Genetics Laboratory, who have an international reputation as experts in DNA-based animal testing.
