Urdd Regional Swimming Gala On Thursday 7 th, the Urdd held their annual regional swimming gala at Penarth Leisure Centre, where schools from all over Cardiff competed for a place in the National Urdd Finals. There were some amazing swims from our Year 4 team, Celeste R, Francesca B, Phoebe C and Darcie G and also from our Year 6 team, Honor F, Amber P, Daisy B, Eleni S, Carys H and Abigail S. Only the fastest overall swimmer in an individual event or school team relay event will be eligible to represent the region in the finals, so we now await the results of these regional heats to find out if any of our swimmers have qualified for the national event which will take place in January at Cardiff International Pool.
