Kent ISD Teacher Leadership Academy Certification Program WHAT: Leading Change from the Classroom Teachers as leaders Teacher Leadership is the knowledge, skills, and attitudes demonstrated by teachers who continue to teach while they lead and influence others within and beyond the classroom. August 2017 to December 2018 WHY: HOW: Teacher leadership fosters the relationships necessary to build capacity within staff toward continuous school improvement.
