B. Provide an appropriate environment to establish and reinforce acceptable pupil behavior, attitude, and social skills to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning. C. Maintain on-going communication with site administration, staff, and parents to ensure an instructional program which meets the remedial/developmental needs of the students. D. Evaluate pupils academic and social growth regularly and make adjustments in the program to better facilitate the attainment of goals and objectives; prepare progress reports as needed. E. Schedule, prepare for, and participate in all IEP meetings for students in case load, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and submit the completed paperwork to the district office within the prescribed timeline. F. Keep accurate documentation for each student in case load in regard to attendance, behavior, academics, and work experience. G. Continue professional growth through attendance at in-services, special education staff meetings, site staff meetings, and other professional activities. H. Plan and coordinate the work of assigned paraprofessionals.

QUALIFICATIONS Education Possession of a bachelor s degree and an Education Specialist credential (or other appropriate special education credential that authorizes this assignment). Possession of an English learner authorization. Experience Classroom teaching experience preferred.
