Remember to get your Producer Affidavit & Market Health Record (Bill of Sale/COOL) forms signed when you buy your market animals. We will be collecting the forms at initial weigh-in again this year. The forms are available on the Valley County Extension website under 4-H, Documents and Forms, then click Valley County Fair. Under Producer Affidavits and Health Records there is a form for each livestock species. Print this, or ask your leader to and take this form with you when you buy your 4-H livestock project animal and get it signed. For our newer members, COOL stands for - Country Of Origin Labeling. If the form from the website is not used, a copy of the original Bill of Sale/Receipt will also work instead and is also required at weigh-in signed by both you (buyer) and your breeder (seller). www.uidaho.edu/extension/county/valley/4-h The University of Idaho is an equal opportunity/ affirmative action employer & educational organization. Page 5 Cascade Lake 4-H Camp Builds Path to the Future For 50 years, campers have enjoyed peaceful walks on trails beneath the pines along the lakeshore of the Cascade Lake 4-H Camp. The Camp Board has made many improvements to those paths over the years, but as we start our next 50 years, we want to make the experience even better for campers of all abilities. Our path improvement project will upgrade 4,253 feet of pathway that will be 4' wide. A total 17,012 sq. ft. of path will be constructed. The packed gravel base will have a True Grid Paver filled with more gravel that will make a stable, safe path for campers of all abilities enjoying the their time at the camp. Construction of each running foot of path will cost $9 to $10. According to the terms of our recently renewed lease from the Bureau of Reclamation, we are required to complete the improvements by September 2016. The Camp Board is seeking support from friends of the Camp through donations to complete the project. We challenge all 4-H Clubs in the District to see how many feet of path they can donate to the Camp. Club progress will be reported on our website and Facebook. Follow us and help us spread the news of our project. Thanks for your support! These improvements will help 'make the best, better' for all who use the trails. Happy Camping Trails to you all! HELP MAKE CAMP TRAILS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL! On May 5th, "GIVE" to Cascade Lake 4-H Camp. Please donate and share our Idaho Gives campaign on Facebook. Spring Work Weekend May 14-15, 2016 Join us for Spring Work Weekend at beautiful Cascade Lake 4-H Camp in Donnelly, Idaho. We will be building accessible paths and cleaning up the property in preparation for summer camps.
