For the theme of Blue, the little learners of Play Group had an exciting event with blue-water. The Playgroup children also had an outdoor activity where they had a wonderful time making apple salad. The children of Nursery brought Doughnuts for a snack, on a Thursday and on another week, they brought two slices of bread, a slice of cheese to make square sandwiches on their own! TESTIMONIAL The Little Haji Recently, a student of Grade 6 went for Hajj which is an annual Islamic Pilgrimage to the Holy City of Makkah. This is obligatory for all Muslims which must be carried out at least once in their lifetime as it is one of the vital parts of the five pillars of Islam. Ata Ullah Adnan shows his appreciation to the Almighty for being able to visit the great Ka ba and also to Principal Sir for permitting his leave. He is also thankful to his teachers for inspiration and his classmates for their encouragement. By ATA ULLAH ADNAN GRADE 6 EDUCATIONAL TRIPS Our Trip to BRAC School bykashmery Hossain Grade 7A I would like to thank our Principal and Vice Principal for arranging a socially useful and productive work for us. I would also like to thank the designated teachers Ms. Shubarna and Ms. Shanjida for giving us this great opportunity to take active part in this programme. This programme began with the houses at school. The house masters of the respective houses asked for donation of clothes for the underprivileged children and the house captains rushed in organizing and gathering these clothes together from the students. After these clothes had been piled up and packed together, one student from each class was asked to accompany the teachers to BRAC School to donate to charity and spend quality time with the underprivileged students.

The school was situated on the bank of a lake and in front of it was a tin-shed house entitled BRAC SCHOOL. We opened our shoes and went inside. We greeted the students and teachers. Some of us talked about the Ebola virus its prevention, symptoms, keeping ourselves clean, how to protect ourselves from fire, etc. They also talked about themselves, their aims, then they sang a song, we clapped together and then they danced. Something which moved us, especially me was that, even though they had this very small room as their classroom, everything was so clean and neatly arranged! They couldn t afford a fan but their soft board (which was made from hanging clothes and pinning pictures on them) showed how creative and talented they were. Each and every one of them was so spontaneous and smart. Then it was the time for distributing. We distributed clothes and came back to school at 1:00. Honestly, it was a very important time for me.
