Worldwide Choice The child may receive Scholarships to attend a recognized post-secondary/tertiary institution anywhere in the world. Self-Completion Feature In the event of your premature death or disability, the Self-Completion Feature ensures the return of your Contributions (less fees) based on the amount accumulated in the Plan at the time of your death or disability. It also ensures your child s three years of Scholarships are fully paid-up. Self-Determined Option (Must be selected no later than 60 days prior to Maturity.) As a young child, my older brother and I can still remember looking up at The Heritage International Scholarship Trust Plan certificates that my Mom and Dad had hanging in our bedrooms... We went through school knowing that regardless of what happened, we would be secured a post-secondary education... We wanted to make our parents proud, while at the same time achieve the maximum gains out of what they now deem to have been one of their most valuable investments... Now, as a teacher in early childhood education, I have a wonderful opportunity to convey to children of a young age and their parents, the value and benefits of preparing for a post-secondary education.
