PROJECT OVERVIEW To reach more athletes and have a greater impact on youth sports, BASE Foundation is building the largest indoor/ outdoor baseball and softball complex in America. Known as the POWERplex, BASE Foundation will educate more than 20,000 young ball players per year. This campus includes multi-sport domes with integrated education, healthcare, retail, hotel, and office park on 74+ acres in the heart of Chesterfield Valley in Missouri. BASE Foundation delivers one of the most comprehensive curriculum programs in America for bringing sportsmanship, character and mental control to young ballplayers and coaches. The coursework is designed to teach valuable life-lessons including accountability and self-control, while also improving performance and teamwork on the field. Each year thousands of young athletes will engage in BASE Training at the POWERplex. The Largest Indoor/Outdoor Sports Complex in America The first phase of this development will have 250,000sf of climate controlled space inside one massive dome, spanning 750 x 300. In addition, an annual temporary dome (600 x 275 ) will cover two turfed fields outside during the winter months. 2,500 seat stadium to complement the existing 16 dirt & grass fields already on-site in Chesterfield Valley sports complex. The sports facilities will be fully integrated into a training facility and nutrition center as well as hotel, a business and medical office park, sports retail, food courts, restaurants, bars and health & wellness food stores and more. The campus revolves around the one massive indoor baseball/softball/multi-sport dome (250,000sf of climate controlled space). The space can also be converted to hardcourts, soccer, lacrosse, and incredible expo and conference space. In addition to the indoor complex, the project also features a 2,500 seat stadium with 5 adjacent artificial turfed fields ready to host regional & national little league and softball championships. The stadium will also be home to a National Pro Fastpitch team by 2019 (women s professional softball franchise). 1

A CENTER FOR ALL CHILDREN The POWERplex will offer after-school sports and educational tutoring programs for low income, inner-city public and private school students. Transportation and full access to the POWERplex and the Center for Human Development Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 7pm. Three 55 passenger, charter buses will meet low-income students at different pick-up and drop-off locations in various school districts in the city and county. Goal is to have 400 low-income kids per year in a two-day per week Scholar/Athlete Academy. Larger student volumes during summer camps & clinics. 4
Baseball And Softball Education Foundation Bringing Sportsmanship and Character to the Diamond BASE Foundation delivers one of the most comprehensive curriculum programs in America for bringing sportsmanship, character and mental control to the young ballplayers and coaches. The coursework is designed to teach valuable life-lessons including accountability and self-control, while also improving performance and teamwork on the field. Each year thousands of young athletes will receive classroom work in the areas of: Teamwork, Leadership, Respect, Emotional Control and Attitude of Gratitude. BASE Training is a five-course curriculum recommended for ages 12 to 18. It is strongly encouraged that baseball and softball teams do BASE Training together, so that all coaches, parents and players develop a baseline understanding of what being a BASE Certified team means. BASE, in partnership with all the affiliated non-profits, will manage activities in the Sinquefield Center for Human Development. 5
