Rebecah Bashant, Grace Johnson, Nate Otto, and Noelle Pape created a video for the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority s Trash Can Film Festival with the support of Mrs. Pape. The purpose of the film was to communicate information about reducing, recycling, and reusing materials in the classroom. The team won first place for the middle school age category! Check out these award-winning video stars today! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9uebj0yzsy&featu re=youtu.be The group used the prize money for some delicious goodies and cozy new sweatshirts. The group wishes to thank Miss Lillibridge for her technical support with the video. The video is posted on the Authority s webpage and YouTube channel.
Artwork Displayed at Post Office The artwork currently on display at the Clinton Post Office has been created by several High School and Middle School students. Mrs. Pape s Studio in Art students painted breath taking mandala designs using a variety of watercolor techniques. Sixth grade designers have honored artists of their choice through their mixed media postage stamp designs. Additionally these students have made their own colored pencil radial designs. Congratulations to our artists: Fiona Quintana, Lauren Hutchings, Alisha Green, Elyse Jackson, Ali Marceau, Crystal Cookingham, Abigail King, Libby Militello, Kehela Reeves, Sam Butcher, Madison Luke, Henry Fehlner, Kass Gifford, Victoria Lewis, Henry Memmer, Anthony Ritz, Tanner Champion, Davyd Korovaynyk, Avery Maxam, Jayden Hillage-Scribner, and Sofia Rojo! From the High School Mrs. Mary Beth King's high school classes were recently visited by Mrs. Bridget Reilly who spoke about the importance of volunteering in the community and giving back to others. Students warmly received her and some signed up to volunteer at the Presbyterian Home before she left the building. The high school student council is also planning an event at the Presbyterian Home for the near future. Mrs. Reilly is on the right in the photo.
