A Message from your Head Teacher Ms Russell Friday 15 September 2017 Norfolk trip 18 22 September All of the children who are going to Norfolk must be in school on Monday 18 September at 7.30am. The coach will be leaving at 8.30am sharp. All children will need a packed lunch for the outgoing journey. If your child requires any medication during the course of the trip please place it in a clear sealable bag with their name and dose clearly written on the bag. Children should bring a maximum of 10 spending money only. A money bag with their name on will be provided by the school. Spare clothes and shoes are essential. No valuables or items of importance should be brought on the trip as there is no safe place to keep them. Parents will receive a text when they arrive in Norfolk and again when they arrive back at school on Friday 22 September at 3.30pm. Macmillan Coffee Morning - Wednesday 27 September The World s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. We are holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning at our school on Wednesday 27 th September at 9am. Please do your best to attend, bring lots of cakes and donate as much as possible. Reminders from the Office September 2017 July 2018 September 5 Start of Autumn Term ic and make a day of it Dates for your Diary We have a lot planned for the children at Mayville so please keep updated by reading the newsletter or looking on the website. Please make sure you sign and return any trip letters so your children do not miss out on the opportunities that we provide for them. After School Club Reminder If children are not collected on time after school, they will be sent to the After School Club which will cost you 8.00 per day per child. Payment for After School Club must be done on the online payment system in advance, or on the day, before 3.00pm. After School Club sessions must be booked in advance and payments cannot be transferred to the following week. Class 7 and 8 - Universal school dinners In July 2017 Universal School Dinners ended for all children now in classes 7 and 8. Children in class 7 and 8 this September who require a School Dinner will be charged the daily rate of 2.20. The weekly figure is 11. Lost Property From Monday 18 to Friday 22 September all items in the lost property will be on display on the green in the playground. All items that had names inside have been given back to the children they belong to. If you recognise an item to be your childs please take it. On Friday 22 nd September all items remaining will be washed and sold at a fraction of their cost at our Macmillan coffee morning on Wednesday 27 th September at 9am. All money raised from the sale of the uniform will go towards helping Macmillan Cancer Support.
