See what might be in your cupboards at home, sprinkle a tiny bit into your hand, smell it, then taste it. If you like it, try it on a small bite of food. You can also get some seeds to start an herb garden. Parsley, basil, sage, thyme, mint, and oregano are all good choices to start your garden. Coffee Nation will continue serving baked goods and breakfast foods as well as tea and coffee. Stop in and see what s new this week! THS STAFF Coffee Nation is opening the Tiger Teacher Trade How does it work? Bring any unwanted materials and resources to Coffee Nation, located in the teachers cafe. Take any materials that you may be able to use in your classroom.
PEER TUTORING IS AVAILABLE AFTER SCHOOL IN THE LIBRARY ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS. Seniors must supply receipts to the appropriate Associate Headmaster s Office Secretary so that they may be removed from the delinquent lists in order to receive their cap & gown. Taunton High School s Project 351 will be collecting children s clothing and shoes for Cradles to Crayons from March 27 th to April 7 th. There will be donation boxes throughout THS. Attention Class of 2017 Senior T-shirts are now on sale until Monday, April 3 rd. If you do not receive a form, see Mr. Torres in D306 or Mr. Turgeon in C104. All forms and money must be collected to process the order. Skills USA will be raising money for the Doug Flutie Foundation. All month Tiger Den will be selling blue pastries to raise money for autism awareness. Please join us for a school wide dress in blue day on Monday, April 3 rd, in recognition of World Autism Day. In preparation for the Drama Festival State Finals, the THS Drama Club will be presenting an additional preview/show of their award winning production And Others. The show is tonight at 7:30 p.m. Admission is FREE! UPCOMING MEETINGS If you are interested in running for a Key Club board position, forms are outside of C209 and C303. THS Guidance is holding its annual College Planning Seminar tomorrow, Thursday, March 30 th, at 6 p.m. in the THS Auditorium. Topics to be covered include: The College Application process, SAT vs. ACT, College visits and fairs, and NCAA Clearinghouse.
The Taunton Girls Softball League scholarship application is available online and in guidance. This scholarship is open to those who plan to go to college or enlist in the military. Deadline is April 1 st. Seniors: Make sure you check out current scholarships that are available. Some of them are starting to expire. Don t miss out!
