All provisionally selected candidates are required to report in person and take admission at the campus mentioned against their names, during working hours on any working day by 04.01.2017 [The will remain closed for winner vacation from 24.12.2016 to 01.01.2017]. After admission, students will be required to contact the Head of the concerned department to get aquatinted with research facilities & faculty members of the Department. The department will call the meeting of the Departmental Academic Committee (DAC) to finalize the field of interest of the candidate, Guide / Co-guide for the student and course work required for his enrolment to the Ph.D. programme. The student is then required to fill up the enrolment form (downloaded from the website) and submit the same to the office of the Dean (Academic Programmes) within the specified date. At the time of admission, selected candidates would be required to show originals of the following documents / certificates and submit College Leaving Certificate & Migration Certificate in original along with one set of the photocopies of all documents / certificates. 1. Pass certificate and Marksheet of Class 10 (bearing date of birth) 2. Marksheet of Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent 3. Certificate and Marksheets of Graduation 4. Certificate and Marksheets of Post Graduation 5. College Leaving Certificate and Migration Certificate 6. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance-learning programmes are eligible only if (a) they acquired such qualifications as working professionals / while in employment, (b) the programmes are recognized by the DEC-UGC- AICTE or MHRD. They must submit: (i) work experience certificate (ii) Pass certificate and marksheets of qualifying examination showing that they have passed the qualifying examination with requisite marks. 7. UGC-JRF / CSIR-NET / any other national level test for pursuing Ph.D.- Admit card and Score card (if applicable). 8. Caste certificate / special category certificate (if applicable) in proper format, signed by appropriate authority. 9. Sponsorship letter, NOC, Experience Certificate and Facilities available to carry out the research work at their place of working (if applicable) for Sponsored / Part-Time candidates. 10. Note: 1. is being awarded initially for first year and will be continued further After satisfactory performance (i.e. clearing all the registered subjects and getting the synopsis approved) in the first year, the fellowship will be enhanced to Rs. 15,000/- (Rs. 14,000/- for Science Departments) per month in second year. Only if a student publishes at least one research paper in SCI journals of repute, then his/her fellowship amount will be enhanced to Rs. 18,000/- per month (Rs. 16,000/- for Science Departments) in the third year. If a student fails to clear all the subjects in maximum two attempts, he/she will be dropped from the programme and he/she will be required to return the total amount of fellowship paid to him/her. 2. Candidates who have qualified in UGC-JRF / CSIR NET / any other national level test for pursuing Ph.D. would avail the fellowships directly from the respective organizations.
