FACTS Tuition Management Tuition is paid through FACTS. Each family should have received an invitation to enroll. Enrollment in FACTS enrollment is necessary to complete school registration. Payment Options: Annual Payment (July) 3% discount if pre-paid in full through automatic ACH debit. (Discount will not apply if paid by credit card) 11 Monthly Payments (July May)
Summer Assignments Entering 1 st 8 th graders will have required assignments during the summer. Due Date: First Day of School - August 21, 2017 Grade specific assignments may be found on the school website, under Summer Assignments on June 16, 2017.

A Day in the Life School day commences at 7:45 a.m. Dismissal : PK3 3 rd Grade 2:45 p.m. (12:45 p.m. Early Dismissal Days) 4th 8 th Grade 3:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. Early Dismissal Days) Weekly School Mass (usually on Fridays at 9:00 a.m.) Students wear PE uniforms on PE days. Morning Prayer, Angelus at Noon and Afternoon Prayer OLOL follows the Archdiocese of Miami Allergy (72 hour notice) and Medicine policies
A Day in the Life Attendance A student who arrives to school after 7:45 a.m. is considered tardy and must arrive to the school office. (Fees may apply for excessive tardiness.) Students may arrive to school until 11:15 a.m.. After this time, the student may not be admitted and considered absent. OLOL follows Archdiocese of Miami policy with regards to absences. Absences may be excused with a doctor s note but still count towards absence total. Early Dismissal from the school office is allowed up until 2:00 p.m.(12:00 on Early Dismissal Days).
Pre - K Student Morning snack and afternoon snack (provided by parents) Lunch at 10:45 am Special Areas Music, Spanish and PE - once a week Recess Naptime All students will need a Nap Mat. Detailed information may be found on the class supply list. Religion- twice a week in addition to weekly mass
Elementary Student Lunch K 2 nd Grade - 10:45 a.m. 3 rd 5 th Grade 11:30 a.m. Departmentalization for Grades 3-5 Recess PE twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays Special Areas Music, Library, Art - once a week Spanish K 2 nd Grade once a week 3 rd 5 th Grade twice a week Technology - incorporated in all areas of the curriculum. Religion three times a week in addition to weekly mass.
Middle School Student Lunch 12:10 p.m. All subjects are departmentalized Special Areas Music, Library, Art - once a week Technology incorporated in all areas of the curriculum. Spanish twice a week PE twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays Religion three times a week in addition to weekly mass 1 to 1 ipad Program All middle school students will have individual ipads. More details to follow Meet your ipad Day will take place in August prior to the start of school. 8/1 any time from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 8/8 any time from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Before Care/After Care Before Care (No additional charge) Students may be dropped off as early as 7:00 am. Staff will provide supervision of students in the cafeteria until 7:30 a.m.. Students may enter classrooms at that time. After Care Submit registration form found on school website or sign up on Parent Orientation Night. After care is available on a daily basis until 6:00 p.m. (hourly and monthly rates available) Students should bring a snack and supplies to complete homework. Extended care may be offered on the days that school is not in session from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for an additional fee. handout
Drop off and Dismissal Procedures Drop off Locations: Drop-off either on the north or west side of the school building. Drive up to the sidewalk on either side of the building. PLEASE remain in your cars. Student Safety Patrol officers will assist by opening and closing car doors. Dismissal: Children may not be placed in a car unless the school visor tag is displayed. PLEASE remain in your cars. Students cannot walk across the parking lot. handout
Lunch Service Lunch may be purchased at school or brought from home. Cost: $4.50 per day (2016-2017) PK3 PK4 have lunch in the classroom. K 8 th Grade have lunch in the cafeteria. After School Activities Sports, Tutoring and Clubs (Additional Fee Applies) Sports Program Mandatory meeting will be held on August 24, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. for parents interested in having their child participate in the sports program. Tutoring Grade level tutoring available on as needed basis. Teachers will contact parent if recommendation is made. S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Religion, Arts and Music)
After School Activities Sports, Tutoring and Clubs (Additional Fee Applies) Three Little Birds Independent company offers onsite activities such as Ballet, Theater and Robotics.
