Due Date for New Clubs All clubs must have a sponsor and the deadline to form a club is Friday, September 15. Clubs not sponsored by the deadline will not be allowed to meet on campus. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Nylen at nnylen@ccisd.net.
HOSA The first HOSA meeting will be on Friday, September 22 right after school in room 1769, Please plan to come if you are interested in joining HOSA or want to learn more about us!
Eco Club Eco Club will meet in Ms. Haddad s room 2429 Friday 9/15/17 to welcome anyone who wants to join and discuss future activities.
Red Cross Club The Student Red Cross Club will meet in Mrs. Soisson s Room 1229 on Friday 9/15/2017 from 2:30 to 3:00 pm to welcome new and returning members and to discuss future activities.
DECA Any students interested in joining DECA, a business and marketing club, should meet Monday, Sept 18, afterschool in room 1713. See Mrs. Lynn or Mrs. Hermes if you have any questions.
NEHS New Officers for National English Honor Society will have a meeting wednesday at 3:15 in rm.1221.
NTHS NTHS Applications and Fees Due to Mrs. Nylen by Friday, September 15. Applications can be picked up in the College and Career Center.
Rocket Club Come join us for Rocket Club on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Mondays of every month in room 1813 to help design, build, and launch rockets in preparation for our upcoming competition season. See Mr. Skelton or club members for more details.
Spanish Honor Society Spanish Honor Society will meet in 2535 Monday 9/18 at 2:45.
Freshman Class Officers If you re interested in being a Freshman Class officer pick up an application outside of Ms. B s room 2635 or Ms. Perry s room 2517. Those students interested must attend the mandatory officer hopefuls meeting on Tuesday, September 19th at 3:15 where you application will be due.
Rho Kappa Attention Rho Kappa Members and Jrs interested in becoming a member! There will be a Rho Kappa Meeting Wednesday, Sept. 13th at 2:45 in Room 2522 to Discuss Induction, Officer Election, and Homecoming Carnival.
Student United Way Support your peers and local community, Student United Way s monthly meeting has been moved to September 13th after school in room 1235.
FCCLA You want the recipe for success, for scholarship money, for leadership skills? Well you are in luck. FCCLA will hold its first meeting Wed Sept 20 from 2:30-3:30 in room 1815. Come on by and check us out.
Fashion Club You interested in watching your fashion creations walk down the runway, looking for scholarship money, want to extend your leadership skills? Well you are in luck. FIDM Fashion Club will hold its first meeting this Thr Sept 14 after tutorials from 3:15-4:00 in room 1815. Come on by and check us out. Speech and Debate Any students who are interested in the Speech and Debate team and were unable to be in the class please come out the the meeting on Wednesday, September 13 immediately after school in room #2619. For any questions please see Ms. Bennett
National Art Honor Society The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) will have a brief meeting to pick up applications on Wednesday, Sept.13th after school in room 1761. Please try to attend this first membership meeting.

FFA Meeting FFAs first meeting will be Tuesday September 19 at the CCISD West Barn. Join us for dinner and barn tours from 5-6:15pm. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm. Those who are interested in showing in the CCISD Livestock Show are required to attend this meeting with a parent.

Textbooks The textbook room will be open September 11th - 15th before school from 7-7:20, during all lunches, and after school from 2:30-2:45. You may come by the textbook room during these times to request and check out textbooks. After September 15th, all textbook requests must be made via online request form. The textbook room is room 1719 downstairs by the student entrance. See Mrs. Raska if you have any questions.
Auditions for To Kill A Mockingbird Auditions for Charger Theatre s Production of To Kill A Mockingbird are after school on Wednesday, September 13th and Thursday, September 14th. Meet in the PAC. If you have questions about auditions, contact Mrs. Curtis in Room 1323.
Missing Laptop Students, if you have lost your laptop please let the Laptop Tech in the library know as soon as possible. Also, teachers if a laptop has been left behind in your classroom please return it to the Laptop Tech as soon as possible.
Science Fair Science Fair, Science Fair, Science Fair!!! If you are interested in participating in Science Fair, please see Mr. Ruiz after school on Thursday, September 14th in room 2630 for a brief informational meeting. If you cannot make this time, please come by 2630 before September 19th to get the forms and information you will need to participate.
Winter Formal Sophomores are invited to begin Applying to be a Princess in Waiting for this year's Winter Formal! This is an honor granted based on your academic and community accomplishments and involvement. Applications will be available at the Winter Formal table during all 4 lunches Tuesday and Thursday this week, or can be obtained by emailing dallisonlaw@gmail.com! Texas State College Representative Juniors and Seniors: A Texas State college representative will be in the College and Career Center on Monday, September 18 at 10:00 AM to give a presentation. If you are interested in attending, please go to Naviance and sign up, print out your ticket, and show your teacher for permission to leave class.
