BACKGROUND CONTINUED There are so many issues of PWDs which need attention. Some of which are : prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, education, vocational training, employment, accessibility and social participation etc. To address these issues, there is need of comprehensive approach by all concerned like family, community, media, NGOs, Disabled People Organisations (DPOs);UN agencies and above all the Government.
BACKGROUND CONTINUED The disability ratio in respective villages of Islamabad is expected to be even higher(~2%).
