You will receive more information about these events when you pick up your child. Shorts and bows will be sold on the day of the clinic if you would like to purchase them for your child to wear with the clinic shirt for the football performance. DEER PARK HIGH SCHOOL 2017-2018 GRADE POLICY BY NINE WEEKS REGULAR Major Grades 60% No more than 60% of the nine weeks average. Includes tests, projects, research, etc. Minimum of 3 major grades. No doubling of major grades. Minor Grades 40% At least 40% of the nine weeks average. Includes homework (20% maximum), daily work, quizzes, etc. PAP/AP 70% No more than 70% of the nine weeks average. Includes tests, projects, research, etc. Minimum of 3 major grades. No doubling of major grades. 30% At least 30% of the nine weeks average. Includes homework (20% maximum), daily work, quizzes, etc. A progress report will be issued every three weeks. A teacher will record at least five grades per three weeks, with a minimum total of fifteen grades per nine weeks.
