GVSA (our local league organizer) must approve the request. 8-12 game league schedule fall & spring Travel required to Detroit, etc. Large difference in quality between the divisions
DA = Directors Academy for U11-U12 teams in MICHIGAN Qualification: Club must apply for DA status. Acceptance depends on numerous factors such as: # of players in ODP program # of licensed coaches Curriculum # of training opportunities for players Participation in State Cup/ Jr. State Cup Internal Coach Education Winter training Winter competition, etc. SCOR-Meulensteen is re-applying for this program 2017-2018

College Recruitment Overview Freshman no need to rush, find out what colleges they want to attend based on academics. Continue to perfect your game Sophomores narrow down schools create a top 10. Start contacting coaches to watch you play (coach can not respond yet) Juniors Crunch time, be in constant contact with few coaches, make sure they see games. Visit colleges and watch games, talk to coach, etc. Seniors Girls should be settled before spring school season. Boys a bit more time to sign.
