Students should have read the case in advance and should anticipate being called upon to answer questions about the material. 4:15 5:00 Orientation Leaders Drop-in & Q&A Various Locations Orientation leaders will be available to answer student questions about case briefing, note taking, and class planning in advance of the mock class session on Thursday morning. TONIGHT: Read and prepare a case brief for the assigned case, provided in your orientation materials, in preparation for the Mock Class session on Thursday morning. THURSDAY, AUGUST 17 9:00 10:00 Mock Class II Various Locations College of Law professors will guide new students through a class discussion of an assigned case (see orientation packet). Students should have read the case in advance and should anticipate being called upon to answer questions about the material. 10:15 10:45 Class Debrief & Q&A with Peer Leaders Various Locations Students and peer leaders will debrief on the mock class experience, and peer leaders will offer advice for class preparation and for taking notes in class.
