At our school our children receive daily religious instruction but they must see their religion lived out at home and celebrated in a special way with the parish community on Sunday. As you complete your Application for Admission, please keep in mind that acceptance is NOT determined on a first-come basis. Space is limited and we follow a specific policy when accepting students into our school. Please complete all information on the application so that the Administration can make a fair evaluation. The following criteria, in their respective order, will be used in determining acceptance: 1. must meet the school s current age requirements for admission: Junior Kindergarten - 4.0 years old or older on or before September 1 st. Kindergarten - 5 years old on or before September 1st of the current year to enter Kindergarten 1 st grade - 6 years old on or before September 1 st of the current year to enter First Grade, etc. Students will not be tested if they do not meet the age requirement. 2. must place successfully on an entrance test reflecting the level of achievement present at St. Gregory the Great School. 3. Parents must complete an interview with the priest and/or principal. 4. Priority will be given to brothers and sisters of children already attending St. Gregory the Great School.
