Annual Fund Updates/News!! Share the Spirit, today and for their future It s never too late to donate! Please mark your calendars, because on Friday, May 16 th at 1:00 pm we will be turning Ms. Sam into a Human Sundae! You definitely don t want to miss out on this event! The 2013-2014 Annual Fund Share the Spirit, goal is $70,000. With your generous donation, it will aid us in bridging the gap between the cost of educating one child, and the cost of tuition. The tuition and fees only cover one part of the total cost to educate a child in a Catholic school. Your tax deductible donation allows the school to: Keep tuition increases to a minimum each year Continue to improve the educational environment Retain and attract experienced and devoted faculty Enhance our Technology Program Frequently Asked Questions: What is an Annual Fund? Our Annual Fund is an on-going financial appeal to provide funding for our school. A gift of financial support allows St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School to remain a strong institution of Catholic faith formation and excellence in education. Why does our school need an Annual Fund? In order to continue the success of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School, an Annual Fund was created to cover costs and enhance educational programs not covered by tuition fees. It also allows us to offer others an affordable Catholic education. How is the money spent? Funds raised will be used for budget support in areas with the most need or greatest priority. Who benefits from the annual fund? The Annual Fund benefits current and future students of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School. It provides long term economic viability to help carry on the school s mission. When can I donate to the Annual Fund? The 2013-2014 Annual Fund "Share the Spirit" Campaign kicked off the first week of September. Funds will be accepted throughout the 2013-2014 school year. Where do I make a donation? Pledge forms are available in the school s front office or on our school s website at www.smmcs.org. Hello All, I am very happy to report that our Casino Night fundraiser was a great success this year. Not only with the attendance and community support, but financially as well. I can tell you that this was the most successful fundraising event that we have ever had at the school on record. The event looks as though it generated right around $61,000 as profit. Once again, thank you all for your support in this endeavor and with our school in general. It looks as though we are headed in a very positive direction as a community. I am happy to play a small role in this and am thankful for the great role that you play as well. In Christ, Joshua Raab Volume 13, Issue 33
