Our health insurance is already included for boarders and in the Activity pack. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR BOARDERS Boarders must pay a Key Deposit of CHF 100.-,100 or 100 US$ for their room key upon arrival. This amount will be refunded when the key is returned on their departure. There will be no refund if the key is lost. Parents may send an additional amount of Pocket money for students attending the summer camp. The school will keep this money in a safe and give the required amount to the student if needed. All day and boarding students must bring a recent passport photo 6

HOW DO YOU ENROL AT LEMANIA SUMMER CAMP? Any boarding or day student may enrol for both July and August. Please fill in the application form for the desired course in capital letters. Your enrolment will only be valid and your place in the boarding school booked on receipt of full payment by the school. Please note that due to a limited number of places in the boarding school, early booking is recommended. For students needing a visa to come to Switzerland, we will draw up an invitation letter for the Swiss embassy in your country of residence upon receipt of the full payment. N.B. : Foreign (non-eu) students will require a visa. It takes at least 7 working days to send this visa from Switzerland to foreign countries by normal mail (free of charge). An express postage service is offered (CHF 120.-); please state whether you require this option on the application form. Please be aware the time required to obtain the visa. We must receive your application form and the payment of your invoice in full at least three weeks before your arrival at the school in order to guarantee delivery of the visa in time. Upon receipt of the form, we will send you a confirmation letter and an invoice. 8

HOW DO YOU GET TO LEMANIA SUMMER CAMP? By direct train (every 25 minutes) from Geneva airport ; get off at the Gare de Lausanne stop in Lausanne. Ecole Lemania is just a 5-minutes walk from Lausanne train station (see map below). Or by a school staff (train / car) or by a private Limousine Cab. If you want to take this option, please mention it on the application form. The school staff / driver will be waiting for you at airport arrivals, with a sign displaying your name and will take you back to the school or any other address in Lausanne and the surrounding area. Students who have chosen the airport transfer service must e-mail their exact flight details to info@summercamp.ch at least three weeks before their arrival. Or by private taxi. 10
GENERAL INFORMATION First day Boarding students are met at the school on Sunday afternoon by a member of the Summer Camp staff. On Sunday or Monday evening, students can be accompanied into town to change currency, take photos or buy a Sim card for their telephones, as required. Dinner is available for boarders who arrive on Sunday night before the start of courses on Monday. On the first day of lessons, new students must do the language test between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning. An information session is held for all new students at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Meals Day students can have lunch in the boarding school for CHF 18.- per meal, or choose the 5-day lunch package at CHF 90.- per week. Meal tickets must be bought from the school s reception office during the breaks. Schedules Students must conform to the course schedule corresponding to their programme. Activities and excursions Boarding students have an intensive activity programme scheduled every afternoon, evening and weekend. The weekly programme is displayed every Monday morning on one of the screens in the school s main hall. Day students can enrol on the CHF 350.- fixed-price Activity package (6 activities per week in the afternoons, including insurance). Information and prices are provided by the school s reception. Students must enrol for the activities as soon as possible. However, it is possible to choose some of the week s activities on an individual basis, as displayed on the screen in the main hall (the price per activity varies between CHF 40.- and CHF 130.-). Enrolments for individual activities must take place by 9:00 a.m. at the latest on the same day. For day students, certain activities have a limited number of places so they are advised to sign up for them at the earliest possible opportunity. Souvenir photos Photos taken during the student s stay will be posted on the Lemania Summercamp website and Facebook. 11
