Exams for students: DELE A1 and DELE A2/B1 These exams are addressed to students of Spanish between the ages of 11 and 17. The DELE exams for students are official Spanish diplomas offered by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Minister of Education, Culture, and Sport of Spain. They are recognized internationally and do not expire. are adjusted to fit the scope, contexts and situations of the candidates of this age group. consist of four parts: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and interaction, and oral expression and interaction.
DELE A1 exam for students The DELE A1 exam for students certifies the linguistic competence necessary to understand and use common everyday expressionas and basic phrases in order to meet immediate needs. It is an official diploma that corresponds with the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR). It evaluates and certifies the knowledge of the student since their first contact with the language. The A1certification does not expire. It motivates students between ages 11 to 17, as it represents a challenge and recognizes their learning in the initial stages of their studies.
DELE A1 exam for students It consist of four parts: 1. Reading comprehension test (45 min). 2. Listening comprehension test (20 min). 3. Written expression and interaction test (25 min). 4. Oral expression and interaction test (10 min + 10 min of preparation).
DELE A2/B1 exam for students It offers the student the possibility of obtaining a DELE diploma in either the A2 or B1 levels, depending on the results of the examination. It evaluates and certifies the level of competency within the A2 or B1 levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), and the curriculum of the Cervantes Institute. It is recognized internationally and does not expire. It is an exam that has been adapted for students between 11 and 17 years.
DELE A2/B1 exam for students It consists of 4 parts: 1. Reading comprehension test (50 min) 2. Listening comprehension test (30 min) 3. Written expression and interaction test (50 min) 4. Oral expression and interaction test (12 min + 12 min of preparation)
DELE A2 level This diploma certifies that the candidate is able to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of the most relevance to him/her (basic information about themselves, their family, shopping, places of interest, activities, etc).
DELE B1 level To understand the main points of a clear standard text on known issues in either situations of work, study, or leisure. To function in most of the situations that may arise during traveling in an area where the language is spoken. To produce simple coherent texts on topics that are familiar to you or that are of personal interest. To describe experiences, events, hopes, and ambitions, and to briefly justify your opinions and explain your plans.
Dates of the exams for students Dates of enrollment for the DELE A1 and A2/B1 for students in 2016 May 20 2016: Period of enrollment: February 15 to April 13, 2016 Date of the written exams: Friday May 20, 2016. Documentation: 1) registration sheet 2) a photocopy of either ID, school ID, passport or driving license 3) the payment (cheque payable to the Instituto Cervantes, cash or credit card)
