Joint Injection Workshop* 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Participants will learn and enhance skills in joint and bursae injections. Common musculoskeletal complaints, exam, and approaches will be covered to show how this valuable skill is utilized. Billing and coding will also be covered. Dermatology Workshop Including an Introduction to Basic Wound Care* Participants will be able to perform procedure preparation, review various skin pathologies, and demonstrate techniques for excisions of cysts, lipomas and other skin lesions. Participants will also review cryosurgery techniques, basic suturing and nail surgery. Basic wound care techniques, surgical safety and possible complications, and the use of proper coding for reimbursement will also be discussed.
