The Billy Mock Kids Club put together these baskets for the Children s Hospital of Philadelphia! Thanks to all of the donations from STA families over Catholic Schools Week, they will bring joy to so many children! Thanks for always stepping up and contributing to so many worthy causes as part of our community and thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers that are a part of the vibrant Billy Mock Foundation and Billy Mock Kids Club. Beautiful The Cast and Crew of GodSpell is rehearsing non-stop until the big show, Feb.20 th!!! They met up at the McHugh Irish Dance Studio last Saturday for a 4 hour practice and they are so excited to perform in their inaugural season as a member of the Theater Arts Program at St. Thomas. Good Luck boys and girls!!! Alumni Beef and Beer Thank you to all of the volunteers for their hard work in putting together another successful Alumni Beef and Beer. The Alumni loved being back and they appreciated us welcoming them back! A big thanks to Amy Mills, Danny, Ted, Lori Celluci and Mrs. Mills for all that they contributed to making it a great night. Over $1500 was raised so we will be able to award another Alumni Scholarship for our school! The Padua Scholars Dinner was held last week for incoming freshmen who were awarded scholarships to attend Padua Academy. STA student scholarship recipients include Maura Boyce, Genevieve Oberholzer, Elizabeth Erdy, and Grace Jennings. SO PROUD! STA Alumni lead singer Chuck Conlin and his band, The Jersey Surecats performed for the crowd. Alumni posed for pictures and toured the school too!

Alumni Corner STA Boys Varsity Team has a 19-6 record this year! As we write this, they are headed into the Championships! Congratulations on a great season boys! Market Day orders due Monday, Feb 16 for Feb 23 pick up. Gift Gathering Party! Matthew Malloy and Evan Wallace having fun at the 3 rd Grade Gift Gathering Party! Parents and kids gathered at Bette s Family Fun Center for a fun evening out. Michael attended STA from 2000-2009 and Salesianum High School 2009-2013. While at Sallies, he played soccer, golf and was a member of the National Honor Society graduating with a 4.0! He was named a Minuteman and was an active member of the Campus Ministry. He also was one of the student leaders who raised over $73,000 for childhood cancer research and volunteered for the Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with Cognitive Disabilities. He received the St. Francis de Sales Outstanding Catholic School Senior Award which recognizes excellence in faith development, scholarship, service leadership and citizenship. He is currently attending St. Joseph s University majoring in Business Intelligence and Analytics/Marketing. He received the Presidential Scholarship Award to St. Joes! He is a member of the St. Joe s weekly service program, the University Campus Ministry and the University Sports Marketing Club and Athletic Communications. He works as a Stat Crew Associate for the Athletic Communications Office and is currently working as a service delivery intern at Tokio Marine North America Services. Congratulations to Michael and the Gannon Family for your outstanding achievements!

The practice test is identical to the placement test administered in the fall for admission consideration. Test results will be shared with students in the weeks following the practice test. GOT SHOES? The 8 th Grade is collecting used shoes as part of a service/fundraising project. We will take all men s, women s and children s shoes (clean or dirty) except slippers, flip-flops, cleats with metal spikes, ice skates, roller blades or skates, ski boots and heavy work boots. Please no shoes that are wet or mildewed. Shoe bins are located in the School Lobby and the Church Narthex. Shoes with laces should be tied together.
