SOFTWARE S.2 DSRT (dynamic soft real-time) system: Public release as part of my PhD thesis research. The dynamic soft real time scheduler (DSRT) 2.0 is a user-level dynamic scheduler that can schedule soft real time (RT) periodic and aperiodic tasks. It is used for running multimedia applications such as video/audio processing, animation are time-sensitive that need minimal jitter to accomplish a good viewing quality. The DSRT system is a middleware-level scheduler that can be used by copying executable scheduler into the target machine without modifying underlying kernel. IMPACT: The DSRT system incorporated into the Globus project (a GRID computing) The CPU Service Classes concept re-implemented in Windows Vista Multimedia Class Scheduler. The idsrt system is open source license software. S.1 ROAM system: Produced at NTT DoCoMo USA research lab. It is a multi-platform application development framework for heterogeneous mobile devices. It enables a developer to develop cross-device mobile applications that can runtime migrate across different heterogeneous devices. RECENT TALKS Conferences and Workshops 7
