ASEAN Internship Scheme for Hong Kong Higher Education Students Timeline: Now 31 Dec 2016 Online platform opens for creating applicant profiles (Stage 1) Dec 2016 Feb 2017 Job postings and application for jobs (Stage 2) Dec 2015 Feb 2016 (on a rolling basis) By Early Mar 2017 (on a rolling basis) End Mar Apr 2017 Apr May 2017 End Aug 2017 Early Sep 2017 Career Center to nominate a maximum of 3 students for each internship opportunity and to inform students for their nominated post and organization Host Organizations to approach nominated students directly for telephone interviews, if any. Announcement to successful students upon confirmed offers from host organizations Students who have accepted offer have to plan and arrange logistical matters including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, insurance, visa, etc. and inform Career Center about the arrangements Submission of Employer Feedback Form, Learning Journal, photos (with company logo), etc. Student interns must attend a debriefing session organized by the Career Center Sep 2017 Jun 2018 Student interns are to act as buddies for interns of the next round and help with future activities of internship programs (e.g. sharing at information sessions/ recruitment talks/ predeparture briefing, promotion materials, etc.) Note: A Student Undertaking and a refundable deposit of HK$3,000 will be collected upon confirmation of offer.
