McPherson High School KAY students will be hosting a membership drive August 25-September 1 during first and second lunches. The Kansas Association for Youth (KAY) is a character-building, leadership-training, service program directed by the Kansas State High School Activities Association. This nationally acclaimed organization provides students an opportunity to learn to assume their citizenship responsibilities and to enrich their personalities through well-organized programs, projects and parties. Programs educate, inspire and direct members into carefully planned service projects. These projects emphasize four areas of service - school, community, nation and world. Membership dues are $5. If interested, please contact Emilea Harlin, Sponsor, at: emilea.harlin@mcpherson.com Seniors and Families: Mark you calendars now with some important senior dates: Senior Breakfast: Friday, May 5, 2017 Project Graduation: Saturday, May 6, 2017 More details will follow later. Paint Your Space: Our new seniors recently personalized the parking spaces they paid to reserve for the year as part of a class fundraiser. Underclassmen who park in a reserved senior space will lose the privilege of having their own space when they are a senior. Parents and visitors, please refrain from parking in these spaces when you come to the high school during normal school hours as some seniors may temporarily be away from the building attending internships or college classes. Thank you! Erica Shook Senior Class Sponsor

HAVE A GREAT YEAR!!
