Albany Academies Girls Lacrosse Voting Item Albany Academies filed an appeal of their reclassification. The Executive Committee heard the appeal. Recommendation from the Executive Committee to re-classify Albany Academies as Class B in girls lacrosse beginning with the 2015-2016 school year. Catholic Central Girls Basketball Voting Item Catholic Central had requested to be re-classified at the annual review meeting to Class A. This was tabled as the girls basketball committee wanted to wait until after Sectionals to provide the Classification Committee with a recommendation. The recommendation from the girls basketball committee is to leave Catholic Central as a Class AA. Recommendation from the Classification Committee to the Executive Committee and the Athletic Council is to not re-classify Catholic Central in girls basketball. They will remain in Class AA for the 2015-2016 school year. Transfer - Pete Bednarek Academic Advantage Lawsuit The decision should be received very soon. Renee James believe it will be favorable to NYSPHSAA.
