As per the quote stated above, BSc IT Department of VES College is continuing its dream without giving it up by following the strategies such as Inter-collegiate Tech-Fest Annual News Tabloid Active Forum Concepts Notice Board Study Vocab Building Skill Mini Project Book Review Seminars, Workshops and others.

It fulfills its dream of inculcating group dynamics, human skills, and employable skills onto the students by conducting inter-collegiate tech fest SAGACITY and by publishing annual News tabloid THAT s IT. It provides them idea about the recent happenings other than their syllabus through Notice Board Study. Vocabulary Building practice is to let the students to improve their vocabulary. It analyzes the aptitudes of the students by performing PACE test and Aptitude test for free- of- cost in association with the companies engaged with it. It keeps Subject-oriented seminars; soft-skills based seminars, workshops and other activities for the students to develop their communication. The highlighting factor is, in SYIT the students are divided into four forums namely activity forum, forum time forum, feedback forum and notice board study forum. A forum consists of 15 students and every forum will have a linker person. According to the profile of the forum, the students should transact. Activity forum takes care of collecting the details along with the valid documents of inter-collegiate and intra-collegiate activities that include participation of the IT students as well as winning; Forum time forum engages students with lectures in the forum time slot of the college; Feedback forum collects the feedback of the forum time slot lectures and the class feedback; notice board study forum sticks the paper cuttings from the news papers and from other media on IT related topics onto the notice board. Another highlighting factor is, the department continued the concept of mini project to TYIT students in the subject of Advanced Java to collate the theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. This practice is extended to FYIT in the subject of Web Technologies. Book Review is given as one of the internal evaluation criteria s for the FYIT students in the subject of Professional Communication. To make use of the potentials of our students in the best way, other than the above specified key areas, we practice to conduct so many seminars, workshops and other activities. B.Com and B.Sc Students of our colleges participated huge in number and the best college trophy was bagged by R.J. JhunJhunWala College, Ghatkopar and the runner up trophy was received by Our College. This is the evident of its fame in in-house.
