The trainer will further train the ORW of Migrant TI on IPC methods. Expected outcome: Participants would be able to recapture the communication and IPC Methods Participants would be able to develop understanding about Skills required related to IPC for further train the ORWs of Migrant TI Topics Covered IPC methods ( How Hot is the Spot, Lovers, Service Map, Body Mapping, Why is it so?, Story with Gap, Graffiti, Margolis Wheel, HRG drawings) Materials Used Power Point Presentations, Gujarati Translated IPC method Book Duration : 7 Hours / 2 days Process: With Due consultation with SACS, STRC organized Two days training of trainers on IPC methods.the list of for the training was sent to sacs for approval and with consent SACS were invited for the training The training was started with welcome by STRC team and round of introduction with the. Day One: The first session was on Brief about IPC methods and details discussion on How Hot is the Spot and Lovers. Master trainer explained that as per operational guideline of NACO for HRG there are 14 IPC Methods which can be used by Peer or ORW with discussion of HRGs/Migrant or truckers Master trainer discussed the two method How Hot is the Spot and Lovers in details covering objective of the methods, Preparation needs to be done before conducting IPC session at the field level, Process of Method.Once trainer explained were asked to conduct the mock session on two methods. Participants actively participated in the exercise and master trainer has given inputs of groups work Second session was Service map,body Mapping,Why Is it So and trainers discussed each method separately with the.in this session also themselves practices the each method among groups and doubts were clarified by trainers The session methodology was participatory and as all will take sessions on method with Migrant ORW and Peer educators more emphasis was on practice and self learning related to each method The day one ended with summarization of day one learning.the home work was given to read the 5 methods which were discussed on day one for further information. Second Day The day two started with prayer and recap of day one.strc team clarified the participant s doubts of day one The first session of day second was on Story with gap and on Graffiti. The master trainer explained the objectives, Process of the methods and Participants conducted the session on both the methods with groups only. After lunch session was on Margolis wheel, HRG drawings after session all methods were briefly discussed and doubts were clarified with. After the technical session planning session was conducted by STRC staff and plan of action was prepared for the roll out the IPC method training with Migrant TI. Executive Summary Facilitator s Observations The Training for the trainers and focus was given on enhancing skills of Trainers on IPC methods. As Migrant TI has an IPC methods.the were trained and experience TI staff but IPC methods were relatively new to them. Participants from Core, Migrant and Truckers TI group and were Project officer and Outreach workers Participants actively participated the training and willing to roll out the learning further to Outreach workers.
