Moon Area School District Board of Education Regular Board Meeting September 11, 2017 This is an unofficial report of school board action. All official board meeting minutes are maintained in the Central Office and are posted on the district s website following School Board approval. At the September 11, 2017, Regular Board Meeting, school directors APPROVED/AUTHORIZED the following: Approval of the minutes from the meetings held on August 14, 2017 and August 28, 2017, and the following reports as reflected in the September Financial Report: o Treasurer's Report o Investment Report o Board Summary Report o High School/Middle School Activities Report o Food Service Profit and Loss Report o Procurement Card Report Approval of the bills for payment as listed in the September Financial Reports from August 27, 2017 - September 8, 2017: General Fund $214,884.48 Activity Fund $1,886.65 Food Services Fund $289.84 Capital Projects $9,995.00 Capital Reserve Fund $887.50 Total: $227,943.47 Approval to enter into an agreement with First National Bank for the purpose of running the District s Purchasing Card Program. Approval of the Accuracy Certification Statement for the 2016-2017 Child Accounting Data (PIMS). Approval for the School Affiliation Agreement between Carlow University (Education Department) and MASD for the placement of undergraduate and graduate students for field observations, practicum experiences, student teaching and internships during the 2017-2018 school year.

Approval of the proposal to renew the agreement with the Mockenhaupt Benefits Group to provide actuarial services for compliance with GASB Statement No. 45. The cost of the service is not to exceed $7,200.00 Approval of the quotation from Dagostino Electronic Services (DES) to provide Alcatel-Lucent 911 Notification solution. The cost of the service is $11,855 (plus applicable taxes). Approval of the proposal from Cabletechs to replace two old Dell servers with three new Interlogix Network Video Recorders at a cost not to exceed $21,741.23. Approval of the proposal from Cabletechs to replace two old Dell servers with four new Interlogix Network Video Recorders at a cost not to exceed $26,971.11. Approval of the requests for exception to Policy No. 202, Eligibility of Nonresident Students.
