RASHTRIYA EKTA DIVAS 31.10.2015 On the occasion of RASHTRIYA EKTA DIVAS (to commemorate 140 th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai patel) we conducted RUN FOR UNITY in our college on 31.10.2015.This run was flagged off by Pro. K. Raja Rajeswari, Principal. About 200 students participated in this event. All the students formed into human chain and took pledge of Rashtriya ekta divas that to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation. Mr.N.Rama Chandra Rao, NSS PO organized this event. Dept. of AS&H conducted Quiz competitions on life and work of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. About 50 students participated in this event. Prizes were distributed to 1 st and 2nd place winners. Dr.M.L.N.Acharyulu, Mrs.B.Neeraja, Mrs.A.bharathi conducted the quiz competitions. Prof. T.Radha Krishna Murty supervised this event. EENADU - 1 st Nov, 2015

SWACHH COLLEGE PROGRAMME 19-09-2015 SWACHH COLLEGE PROGRAMME was conducted in our college on 19-09-2015 as a part of Swachch Bharat Abhiyan. Prof. K. Raja Rajeswari, Principal inaugurated this programme.all the HoDs are witnessed this programme. About 100 NSS volunteers and students took part in this activity and cleaning the college surroundings, removed bushes, collected waste materials and thrown outside. Principal spoke about cleanliness and its importance. She told all the students that everyone clean their surroundings and create good environment. She also asked the volunteers to participate in Swachh college programme for two hours every week. This programme was conducted under the supervision of Mr. N. Rama Chandra Rao, NSS Programme Officer. Prof. K.Raja Rajeswari Principal and all HoDs witness the programme NSS Volunteers cleaning the college surroundings

INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE AT JNTUK - 15.08.2015 NSS volunteers of our college participated in Independence day parade conducted at JNTUK, Kakinada on 15.08.2015.Prof.V.S.S.Kumar hoisted the National flag as chief guest. Later he review the parade followed by God of honour received. Air wing NCC cadets lead the march past as per drum beat of police band. All the NSS volunteers and players of affiliated colleges of JNTUK participated enthusiastically and shown their respect to National flag. Hon ble Vicechancellor told martyrs role in brought to independence to our country. Later cultural dances performed by JNTUK students. About 1000 students and NSS volunteers participated in this parade. All JNTUK officials, faculty members, non teaching staff were present. INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA On the eve of International day of yoga we have conducted demo on yoga for students of VITAM college of Engineering on 21.06.2015. Mr. K.Srinivasa Rao yoga teacher gave demo on yoga. He told students about yoga, importance, impact on health. He also said dress code, appropriate time for doing yoga, food restrictions. Later he has shown several asanas performing by himself. After this all the students performed asanas under the guidance of yoga teacher. About 100 students of VITAM have participated in yoga competitions enthusiastically. Some of the students participated in debate competition on yoga also. Lastly we have conducted prize distribution for students who have performed well in yoga and debate competition.
