OBJECTIVE Sharing the Concept of Education Television that can broadcast the TV content over the high-speed TEIN network to promote collaborative opportunities, research and cross-culture interactions.
BACKGROUND Pakistan Education & Research Network (PERN) has taken various initiative to support the technology to provide platform for relevant communities TEIN has played vital role in supporting with not only high speed links but also providing funds for capacity building and developing collaborative linkages.

TELEMEDICINE OVER PERN From the Operation Theater facility of Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi Live surgeries on Advanced Upper G.I. Laparoscopy. Currently video conferencing and PERN facility is being provided to allied hospitals of PIEAS to promote Online Lectures Clinical Activities Training/ Workshops
