Excellence. Acceptance. Community. Honesty. Dear Parents and Families: As we get closer to the end of the year some children are starting to wear clothing other than uniform. Please remember that our uniform is compulsory and ALL students are expected to be in full uniform everyday except for any special days which you will be notified of in advance. There are still some parents driving into the staff car park this is dangerous for your children as we have staff and deliveries coming and going from this area all day. DO NOT park in the staff car park for the safety of your children. A big thankyou to the Parents who have been assisting in our kitchen garden it is looking spectacular. If you look closely you will even see the strawberry plants have been planted in our living wall outside the hall. I can t wait for these to grow. Don t forget we currently have an abundance of strawberry plants from our garden for sale. If you wish to purchase some strawberry plants they are 3 plants for $10. Please let the office know if you would like to purchase any. 1/2 UNIT ROBOTICS Robotics is hard but it was fun. (Nivine) I was happy doing Robotics. But putting in the battery was hard. (Angelique) In grade 1 it took forever to build Milo but in grade 2 it only took 5 minutes.(caleb) I felt happy working with my partner. (Abdul) I felt happy working with Milo sometimes it didn t work but in the end it worked.(bella-rose) The hardest thing is when it broke and then you had to put it together again. (Rimas) I was excited because it was my first time. I loved Robotics. (Phoenix)

2018 Essential Education Supplies (EES): The School Council has determined the cost of the 2018 Essential Education Supplies to be $200 per child. This covers essential education items and materials for learning and teaching for next year. The school is able to buy these supplies in bulk to receive discount prices. The supplies will be bought in individual packs and distributed as required by each grade teacher. It is recommended that parents purchase through the school as items need to meet the school s specifications and will be cheaper. Payment options are listed below. A discount of $10 will be given for FULL payment on or before Tuesday 30 th January 2018. Please contact the office if you have any questions or make an appointment to speak with the Principal or Assistant Principal should you need to make alternate payment arrangements. The Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) can be claimed by families with a Health Care or Pension Card valid as of 29 th January 2018 providing $125 per child. Unfortunately, the CSEF cannot be used to cover payment for EES 2018 but will be of great assistance when making payments for excursion/incursions and budgeting for 2018.
