Acts of Kindness Bracelets After attending a conference on kindness, members of the National Junior Honor Society have created a new program in the school. They made kindness bracelets that they distributed to each teacher. When the teachers see a student do an act of kindness they will give a bracelet to the student for the day. It is then the student s job to see an act of kindness performed by another student and pass on the bracelet. When I asked a first grader how they received a kindness bracelet, they responded I got this bracelet because I picked up crayons. These small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone s day. New Addition in 5th Grade The fifth grade has a new addition to their classroom, a rabbit! The rabbit s name is Licorice. The students are learning many things about animal behavior while having Licorice in the classroom. Confirmation Confirmation is Thursday, March 16 for the eighth graders in day school and PSR. Please keep them along with their parents and sponsors in your prayers as they continue their faith journey. Look for us on Facebook at St. Mary School Elyria Congratulations! The fourth grade boys won the St Mary of the Falls tournament, 30-25 over St Bernadette's. Great job boys!
