New Staff National Trail High School is fortunate to welcome the following new individuals to our staff this year: Kevin Alexander - Athletic Director My name is Kevin Alexander. I currently live in Monroe, OH with my wife Missy, son Michael (Bluffton University) and daughter Kayla (Ball State University). I graduated from Wright State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree. I also completed my Masters from Wright State in 2014 with a M.ED in the Educational Leadership program.

I have coached several school sports teams which include middle school basketball, football and track and at the high school level freshman and JV boys basketball, varsity girls basketball and JV baseball. In addition, I ve coached several select programs including the Cincinnati Flames and Hardwood Heat. I look forward to working with the student athletes, parents and community of National Trail Local Schools. Anna Duckro - Counselor My name is Anna Duckro. I live and grew up in Dayton, Ohio. I attended Ohio University for my Bachelor s Degree, which I received in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences with a minor in Psychology in 2010. After graduating with my Bachelor s Degree I served in an AmeriCorps position at Sinclair Community College that focused on college readiness. In 2014, I graduated with my Master s Degree in School Counseling from Wright State University. I am very passionate about helping students think about and plan the next steps in their lives. I enjoy helping students acquire the necessary skills to be successful in school. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, hiking, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to working with all of the students, staff, and parents at National Trail this year! Joanne Fultz French I was born and raised in England and graduated from King Edward VI High School in Lichfield, Staffordshire. My father was a firefighter for over 30 years and my mother an accountant. I graduated from Nottingham University with a Bachelor's Degree in French & German and shortly after I moved to Paris, France. I worked for Alstom, a large blue chip engineering company, in the Marketing department for a number of years before moving into education and completing a Master's Degree in French Education. I worked as a teacher for Middle and High Schools in the Paris area in the public system, teaching English, French and International Trade for 12 years before moving to Ohio in 2014 where I have subbed for a number of schools and also taught a class at UC. I speak four languages including English and my husband is from Springboro, Ohio. We have two bilingual children aged 9 and 12 who love the U.S and Ohio as much as I do. I am very much looking forward to getting my National Trail students enthusiastic about learning French and all the life opportunities that learning a new language can eventually lead. Laura Gray - English My name is Laura Gray, and I am so excited to join the National Trail staff! I grew up in Beavercreek, Ohio, where I graduated from Beavercreek High School. Both of my parents were teachers, and it was their love for education that inspired me to become a teacher. I got my first teaching job at 16, when I assisted several dance classes. Once I began going to Wright State University, I started teaching my own tap, ballet, jazz, and musical theater classes at a preschool and a local dance studio. I graduated from Wright State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of English and French. Two weeks later, I started to pursue my Master of Education at Wright State University, which I officially obtained this spring. I am looking forward to sharing my love of English with the students at National Trail High School. Reading and writing has been such a huge part of my life and something that has always given me joy. It is my hope that I can inspire students to feel some of that joy as we read, discuss, and write about literature together. Randy Kerns - Social Studies I was born and raised in Preble County, and a 2005 graduate of National Trail. I attended Earlham College in Richmond, IN, where I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Over the past several years, I've spent time teaching Social Studies, as well as coaching both baseball and football at multiple schools in Indiana and one in Florida. For the upcoming year, I'll be teaching World History at NTHS, as well as serving as Head Varsity Football Coach. I'm truly excited to be back home and working within the school and can't wait to get to work in the classroom with the kids, and hopefully leave the type of impact so many teachers at NT left on me. This is a great school, and I look forward to being a positive addition to it.

Jordan Schlamb Science Hello, my name is Jordan Schlamb. I have the privilege of teaching chemistry, physics, and forensics this year at National Trail.
