The Bearden High School Dance Team is asking for your help in our community service project this month! This month the dance team will be helping out Tennessee School of the Deaf in their annual Christmas party. The children come from all over the state to TSD and most live there. During the year they earn tickets for doing good deeds and having good behavior. These tickets are used as money for them during the year at school and they will be able to use them at the Christmas party to buy gifts for their families back at home. The dance team is trying to supply 400 gifts for the kids by December 16th. So needless to say, we would appreciate any help we can get. The gifts can be 5 dollars or less. Some ideas can include the following: bath soaps, journals, blankets, mugs, little bracelets, gift cards, basketballs, footballs, and anything else you can think of. If you and your child would like to support us in this project, you can bring the gift to school where we have boxes out by the guidance office and the West Mall office. In addition you can also personally give your gift to a dance team member or to our sponsor, Ms. Ford, in room 326. We have a very short amount of time to accomplish what we would like to for this service project and would highly appreciate any help! Thank you and Happy Holidays :)
