We were pleased to be able to present the Palmerston Fire Staon with a Thank you card and hamper in appreciaon for everything our firefighters do in the community. Important Notices Last Day of Term 3 Casual Dress: Students are invited to wear their favourite sports team/colours for the last day of term. Please Note: A gold coin dona on is required which will be donated towards our school sponsor child. Sun smart clothes and closed in shoes must be worn. Term 3 School Fees: Term 3 fees are due by close of business Friday 28 th September. If you have not made payment for Term 3 fees or you are not in a current agreed payment plan with the school - your account is now overdue. Please contact Amie Wagner at accounts.pcs@ntschools.net to discuss payment op ons. School Service Hours: A reminder that the school service hours fee will be charged to family accounts in Term 4 who haven t completed the required 6 hours. Families will s ll have the opportunity to complete the hours in the new term. Don t forget to fill in the book at the Office when you have completed your volunteer hours. Lost Property Last Opportunity: There is a mountain of lost property si2ng in the Office. Please come and check the box if your child is missing any items. All lost property le3 at the end of Term 3 will be removed or donated. 2019 Classes: Planning is well underway for our 2019 classes. Thank you to all families who have advised the office about their inten ons for next year. If something has changed or you have yet to advise the office, please remember that no fica on is due by this Friday 28 September (last day of Term 3). This will assist us greatly in our prepara ons and also avoid any late no ce fees. Please Note: If your child will not be a<ending PCS next year, you will need to complete and hand in a No ce to Withdraw form which is also due by this Friday 28 September. School Holiday Office Hours: Please note the change in Office hours during the school holiday break: o Monday 1 to Wednesday 3 October: Open 9am to 3pm o Thursday 4 to Wednesday 10 October: Closed o Thursday 11 to Friday 12 October: Open 9am to 3pm Reminder: First day of Term 4 is Monday 15 October. Swimming Carnival: The Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday 19 October (first week of Term 4). We are looking for parent volunteers with current ochre cards to assist on the day. Please contact the Office if you are available to help. Book Club Coordinator: We are in need of a new book club coordinator. If you are able to assist us, please contact the front office for more informa on.

PCS Swimming Carnival 19th OCTOBER 2019 Students are to arrive for roll call by 8:30am. Primary students will then be transported to the Palmerston Leisure Centre, whilst middle school students will walk to the venue with their teachers. Events will commence at 9:30am. Parents are encouraged to come along to spectate and cheer. What to Bring: Bathers (sun safe swim shirt is required) Towel Hat School sports uniform (May be removed for swimming only) Water Bo<le (Filled with water) Labelled Food for both Recess and Lunch (zip lock bag no refrigera on will be available) Enclosed shoes (for those walking) Thongs Sunscreen- Parents are asked to apply sunscreen to young students before dropping them off at school. Please ensure that all belongings including towels, bathers and clothes have your child s name on them. We are in need of parent volunteers. If you have a current ochre card, please advise the office if you are available to assist. A reminder to families with children in Kingdom Kids, the Early Learning Centre will be opera ng through the school holidays and will have their last day for 2018 on Friday 14 December. Kingdom Kids will then reopen on Monday 14 January 2019.

PARRS Orienteering: What a wonderful day we had at the PARRS Orienteering Gala Day! Teams par cipated in a med orienteering course at the beginning of the day which counted towards our total points as a school team. Students were then able to par cipate in more courses for fun while wai ng for all the scores and teams to come in. Final results are: Mens 12-13 year olds (mixed gender teams had to par'cipate in the mens course) 1 st Place: Caitlin Jong and Nathan Burge 2 nd Place: Miguel Magabo and Francesco Antognoni 3 rd Place: Michael Ezzy and Jono Leong Womens 14-15 year olds 2 nd Place: Emma Secre< and Stephanie Kingsbury 5 th Place: Bethany Sparks and Yukira Blunt Mens 14-15 year olds 4 th Place: Drew Sparks and Manolie Thomas As a Middle School team, we placed second with 18 points.
