The internet is amazing. Children can play, learn, create and connect - opening up a whole world of exciting possibilities. But with the digital world changing all the time, how can you make sure your child s staying safe? 4 easy steps to follow: 1 - Talk about staying safe online. 2 - Explore their online world together. 3 - Manage your families settings and controls. 4 - Agree on rules about what is ok and what is not. Find out more. We would like to invite all parents, carers or family members to a free online safety workshop ran by the NSPCC at school at 2.15-3.15pm on 23rd January 2019. The content covered in the workshops is aimed at adults. Parents with children are advised to arrange childcare if possible. The hour-long workshop will help parents, carers and other adults understand their child s online world, build confidence to have those important conversations that can help keep children safe online and help you know where to go for help and advice.

Parking Parents are reminded to park with consideration to residents when doing the school run as we have received complaints about double parking in the areas around the school. Thank you Children in Need We raised 118.65 for Children in Need. Well done to every one who took part And a big thank you from Pudsey! The season of Advent is fast approaching and so, following the success of last years Reverse Advent Calendar we have decided to run this project again. The idea of this calendar is to put something in rather than getting something out. However we will not be asking for items on a daily basis as we appreciate this time of year is a costly and busy one. We think it is important to support people who are facing difficulties locally and therefore our donations will go to The Good Shepard in Wolverhampton. We hope to collect a variety of items in order to make several boxes up, items can be brought in on any day of the week but we have divided them into several categories. Week 3 - Monday 10th December - Packet Food (Rice/pasta/biscuits etc.) Week 4 - Monday 17th December - Wednesday 19th December - Treats (Chocolate/Hot chocolate/gloves/scarves etc.) Please note all items need to be new/unopened and in date, unfortunately we are unable to accept any alcohol/tobacco products. We hope you will support us in this effort in making a difference. If you have any queries please see any of the Young Disciples, Mrs Byrne or Mrs Smith. Thank you!
