Financial and Treasurer s Report A motion is requested to approve the Financial Report dated June 30, 2015 and the Treasurer s Report dated June 30, 2015. 6. 8. High School Financial Accounts A motion is requested to approve the following High School Financial Account reports dated July 31, 2015. A. Activities Account B. Athletic Fund C. Letterman s Club 9. 2015-2016 Substitute Bus Driver List It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve the 2015-2016 substitute bus driver list. 10. Bus Driver Runs It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve the 2015-2016 bus runs as presented. 11. 2015-2016 Substitute Support Staff List & Kelly Services It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve the 2015-2016 Substitute Support Staff List as presented and to subcontract with Kelly Services. 12. Elementary Handbook It is the recommendation of the Superintendent for the Board to approve the 2015-2016 Union Memorial Elementary School Handbook as presented. 13. STEP Program A motion is requested for the Board to approve the continuance of the STEP Program for the 2015-2016 school year with Ms. Samantha Laverty to coordinate the program and Mr. Michael Ross to select the candidates. The program is not to exceed $12,000.
14. Facility Request Middle School Student Council It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve the facility request made by the Middle School Student Council for the Middle/High School cafeteria and common areas; on November 11, 2015 from 9:00 AM 2:00 PM on for the purpose of a fall festival. All fees have been waived. 15. 2009 & 2010 Pennsylvania State Audit Corrective Action Plan It is the recommendation of the Superintendent for the Board to approve the resolution indicating the 2009 & 2010 Pennsylvania State Audit Corrective Action Plan as presented. 16. Resignation of 7 th Grade Girls Basketball Coach Anthony Thomas It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve the resignation of Mr. Anthony Thomas as the 7 th Grade Girls Basketball Coach effective August 19, 2015. 17. 7 th Grade Girls Basketball Coach Kevin Zona It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve Mr. Kevin Zona as 7 th Grade Girls Basketball Coach and paid a stipend of $2,325, effective August 19, 2015. All clearances are on file. 18. Assistant Varsity Football Coach John Johnston It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve Mr. John Johnston as Assistant Varsity Football Coach and paid a stipend of $3,450, effective August 19, 2015. 19. Resignation of Girl s Assistant Volleyball Coach Stephanie Bennicase It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve the resignation of Ms. Stephanie Bennicase as the Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach effective August 19, 2015. 21. 2015-16 Student Teacher It is the recommendation of the Superintendent for the Board to approve the following student teachers: A. Resignation of Bus Driver DiPerna It is the recommendation of the Superintendent for the Board to approve the resignation of Mr. Raymond DiPerna as Bus Driver effective August 19, 2015. 23. Transfer Tax Refund A motion is requested for the Board to approve the refund of the real estate transfer tax in the amount of $1,250 payable to Mr. Brad A. Thomas and Maria L. Thomas of 3022 W. State Street. 24. ACA Compliance Agreement Reschini Agency, Inc. It is the recommendation of the Administration for the Board to approve the attached contract made between the Union Area School District and Reschini Agency, Inc. for the purpose of ACA compliance, effective August 19, 2015. 25. Athletic Field Maintenance Agreement A motion is requested to approve the new 2015-2016 Athletic Field Maintenance Agreement with Pelto Property Maintenance as presented. 26. Board Policy #217 Graduation Requirements It is the recommendation of the Superintendent for the Board to approve Board Policy #217 Graduation Requirements as presented.
