Christmas Foodbank Drive There are many families in Bonnyrigg this Christmas that are in need of food parcels. What this means is they cannot afford to pay for rent, heating, electricity bills AND food so they are relying on food donations. Please try to bring in at least one food item, if you can, to provide to these families. If 1,000 of us bring in just one item imagine how many families we could help!

Christmas Foodbank Drive The race is on to see what House can be the most philanthropic! 1. Go to the shops 2. Pick out a food donation 3. Bring it to your collection point at Registration 4. Final donations by Fri 14 th December 5. Food parcels will be delivered the following week What our local families need: Diluting juice, UHT milk Tinned fruit / puddings Tinned Veg / meats Pasta / sauces Sugar / Coffee /Tea Snacks / biscuits / breakfast cereals Perhaps a Christmas treat e.g. cake /mince pies etc.

Fairtrade Muffin Sale When: Friday 14 th December at break time. Where: 2 nd floor, top of the atrium stairs. Why: Part of S1 Connections program and to raise money for Fairtrade. Cost: 30p per muffin. There are a wide variety of flavours available including chocolate, banana and many more... There is a limited amount available so be quick.

When Monday 17 th December, period 5 Where the Assembly Hall What Christmas quiz. Why- to raise money towards fares for our South African visitors. Who- for 1 st year only. All S1 teachers register then please bring their class to the Assembly Hall at the start of period 5. Prizes and house points to be won!
