In House soccer grew 14% Tennis grew 32%. 2014 was a year to meet/greet and extend the reach of EVAA into the Eastview community. Reviewed Apple Valley fields and diamonds to review current situation. Why We Play Why We Coach seminar Matt Percival Lacking volunteers same core people doing all the work How to deal with aggressive parents and keep kids interest in sports doing it for the kids. Thanks to all local businesses for their support. Participated in 4th of July parade for the first time. Financial transition working well and on track.

2015 Outlook: Maintaining current program numbers and support struggling programs. Work with Valley and Rosemount to develop better relationships in Apple Valley/Rosemount and Eagan. Lynn Rauch and George Singer leaving the board. Program Updates/Program Directors Dakota REV: No report Baseball: Rich (new Program Director) Strong Spring season turnout. New addition to board 21 members. Coach interviews great turnout 25 coaches. Cooperstown Winter Clinic going well In House Basketball: Picture night Traveling Basketball: Budget issue Girls tourney lost 30 teams to Edina tourney. Major hit to the fundraising efforts. NYS ref issues calling closer games less contact longer games more concussions parents/coaches putting kids back out on court Bring in concussion expert to help define concussion support for coaches and EVAA. Cross Country: No Report Nordic Skiing: No report Football: 2015 meetings starting in January. Working on budget. Email blast for new board members Lacrosse: No report Soccer: Meeting with Rev this week. Tourney team organization. Soccer registration up soon.

Softball: Registration up for traveling this week and in house soon after. Tennis: Looking for ways to improve traveling program. Registration will open up in early March. Track & Field: Submitted request for registration. Pat has space request. Friday folders update ready. Volleyball: Spring in house first week of February. Start planning for spring dig. 3 new board members. Wrestling: No report. Traveling wrestling up and running. December Minutes: Approved Financial Update: Partial review of December numbers. Financial committee will meet to wrap up December. Will approve via email later in month. Program Budget Approvals: No budget presentations this month Field/Gym Update: Fields are frozen. Gyms are full. Admin Report: Friday folders (email version). Might need surveys to research effectiveness. Next update in February. NGIN and registration issues. Adding content to newsletter. Community being formed to review new website options. Committee Reports: Appreciation Day: Last Sunday in July, 2015 tentative date Newsletter Update: Done. Needs formatting and review. Quarterly delivery starting in January. Postcard mailing for February. EVAA table at Open Houses in elementary schools District Email blasts

New Business: New 4th of July committee needed 2015 Task: Info from Peter Blattner (VAA President) Every board member has a position. All board members get Valley jackets. Evaluation Director surveys for programs/review feedback. Risk Management position. Concussion position. Communication Director position/calendar. Positive Coaching Alliance (pair with VAA): Define package/costs conversation via email. Matt Percival is another option.
