Here is a quick recap of what we ve been up to: Port Welshpool Fishcare Excursion Last Friday we headed off to Port Welshpool for a Fishcare and coastal awareness excursion. The students learnt about skills such as identifying fish, measuring fish, reading bag limits, safe fish handling, knot tieing and casting, before being given the opportunity to wet a line themselves. It was great to see the students skills develop markedly in such a short period of time, which paid off with lots of fish being caught. Catch of the day went to Sunday who managed to catch a huge eel! A massive thankyou to the PFA for paying for the bus this allowed us to offer the excursion to students free of charge. School Uniform On Wednesday we had a visit from Anish (Toora Foodworks) to present the students with their new school polo shirts. Anish very generously provided the funds to allow us to purchase each student a polo with our new school logo. The students were very excited to receive these thanks Anish! We will be sending home an order form in the next couple of weeks if you would like to purchase any additional items. 14th March 2018 Pear Party Thanks to the parents and community members who gave up their Sunday to hold a stall at the Pear Party.
